NxtGen has developed a non-catalytic Syngas Generator that enables active regeneration of diesel particulate filters and NOx catalyst/adsorbers in one integrated aftertreatment system. NxtGen technology significantly reduces the cost of diesel engine aftertreatment while meeting all Federal and State emission regulations. The Company is currently testing its component prototypes in an engine test cell and anticipates field trials of a retrofit aftertreatment system for medium and heavy diesel trucks in mid 2007. NxtGen is also developing syngas aftertreatment components for diesel engine manufacturers who must comply with strict EPA emission reduction regulations and a novel marine diesel emission reduction system.
