Responsibilities

• Test engines and associated aftertreatment systems.
• Source and design test equipment required for engine and aftertreatment systems testing as required.
• Write equipment operating and safety procedures based on test plans developed by NxtGen team.
• Lead the operation of the test equipment to execute test plans.
• Participate in analysis of test results and review with other functional teams.
• Contribute to design reviews of systems using experience from performance testing

Preferred Qualifications/Experience

• Engineering degree
• Four to eight years experience:
  • Testing or developing diesel or gasoline engines or hydrocarbon processing equipment.
  • Experience with different gas analysis equipment, controllers, pumps, valves and various sensors types.
  • Writing test plans and reports based on tests performed.
• Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Project management experience in a product development environment.
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• A strong sense of accountability and a desire to continually improve oneself.

Beneficial Skills

• An understanding of the mechanical issues involved in integrating components onto vehicles such as heavy duty trucks or passenger cars.
